With summer coming to a close, it’s time to start updating your autumn wardrobe. It is also the perfect time to find your autumn fragrance. For centuries, agarwood has been used to create oud, an ingredient prized as the most valuable perfume ingredient in the East. Meanwhile, sitting at the gateway between East and West, the Turkish rose is a prized symbol of the joy of life. Together, these ingredients mark the fusion of east and west as well as the ancient and the modern.  This combination is perfect for autumn.

If you’re interested in trying a rose and oud-inspired fragrance, Rose Anonyme by Atelier Cologne is a stunning option. I was first introduced to Atelier Cologne through reviews about their Nolita Flagship in New York City and put their flagship on my Pinterest board of places to go. But, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they were having a launch event at my local Sephora several months ago.

Of all their colognes, Rose Anonyme is my absolute favourite. This fragrance includes Turkish rose, oud accord and other fragrances from around the world for a true, east meets west experience. There’s Somalian incense, Indian papyrus, benzoin from Laos, Patchouli from Indonesia as well as bergamot and ginger. This passport of ingredient combinations is signature to the Parisian maison de parfum.

Atelier Cologne is available for sale in Canada exclusively through Sephora. But as mentioned in my previous post you can also order 2 ml samples of their fragrance collection online to try directly from Atelier Cologne.
